Highways are important in the growth of economy nation. Pavement distributes and reduces loads to subgrade so as not destruct pavement foundation subgrade. Thermal stresses more vulnerable be included ability contract expand concrete is very less. The roads provide vehicle access various points all weather conditions road users with a clean, smooth, comfortable ride without unnecessary delay or excessive wear tear. Since UP eastern region faces tremendous temperature differences, load variations, moisture conditions. This paper puts an attempt identify optimum thickness rigid sustain these extreme high humidity, configurations. In this configurations taken from IRC 6: 2016 along data Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) ministry Earth Science government India. gives brief idea selection. utilizes Finite Element Method (FEM) based Software’s KENPAVE ANSYS 12.1 for better understanding critical stress its positions where needs attention design.
